A Third Engineer is required to join a general cargo ship of 6,000 DWT, built in 2010. The offered salary is 4,260 USD per month. The contract will be for a fixed term under the usual conditions of the sector.
The selected candidate will perform engine room watches and assist in the maintenance of propulsion systems and auxiliary equipment. A Third Engineer certificate of competency and previous experience on general cargo ships are essential.
Under the STCW Convention, the Third Engineer must hold the appropriate certificate of competency and be up to date with basic safety training, fire fighting and first aid courses. The contracting company is BIMS.
