Full description

A maritime professional is sought for the position of Control Room Operator, Second Officer or Chief Officer on an FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) vessel operated by Fair Wind. The joining date is scheduled for November and previous experience on VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) vessels is required. The salary ranges from 12,000 to 13,000 USD per month, with a rotation of 2 months on board followed by 2 months of leave. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring the FPSO control systems, as well as performing navigation and safety watches. Under the STCW Convention, deck officers must hold a valid Certificate of Competency and up-to-date maritime safety training. Furthermore, knowledge of FPSO production and offloading systems is highly desirable. This position is aimed at officers with experience on large tankers, preferably VLCCs, who wish to develop their career in the offshore sector. A rotational contract is offered, with the opportunity to work on a highly complex production unit.
