A Master is required for an expedition vessel, joining in February. The contract will last 3 months, with the possibility of extension or reduction by 1 month. The salary offered is 15,000 to 16,000 USD per month. A good level of English and experience in the rank are required.
As Master, you will be responsible for the command and safety of the vessel, the crew and passengers, as well as compliance with international maritime regulations. Under the STCW Convention, the Master must hold an appropriate certificate of competency and have navigational experience. In addition, the SOLAS Convention sets out responsibilities for safety and the MLC 2006 regulates working conditions on board.
