An IT Officer (ITO) is required to join an expedition vessel. The joining date is scheduled for January or February, with a contract of 3 to 6 months, plus or minus one month. According to the STCW Convention, the IT Officer (ITO) is responsible for managing technical and logistical operations on board, coordinating with the expedition team and supervising the vessel's equipment and systems. Basic STCW certifications and experience on expedition vessels or similar are desirable.
