Full description

An Electro-Technical Officer (ETR) is required to join an expedition vessel. The contract will last 6 months, plus or minus 1 month, with a salary of 4,500 to 4,800 USD per month. Good English and experience in the rank are essential. Under the STCW Convention, the Electro-Technical Officer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the ship's electrical and electronic systems, including navigation and communication equipment, as well as propulsion and power generation systems. They also assist in the supervision of control and automation systems. Typical duties include carrying out periodic inspections, preparing technical reports and coordinating with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment.
