A Chief Engineer is required to join a container ship. The joining date is 1 December, with a contract of 4 months +/- 1 month. The salary offered is 9,200 to 9,500 USD per month. As Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the engine department, overseeing the maintenance and operation of propulsion and auxiliary systems, and managing the engine watch. Under the STCW Convention, the Chief Engineer must hold the appropriate Certificate of Competency and meet the training and experience requirements for vessels of the relevant propulsion power.
The successful candidate will join a multinational crew, so proficiency in English is essential for effective communication and safety on board.
