Full description

A Chief Officer is required to join a general cargo ship, with a joining date of 1 December. The contract will run for 6 months, plus or minus 1 month, and the salary on offer ranges from 7,200 to 7,500 USD per month. A valid US visa and a good command of English are essential. Under the STCW Convention (Section II/2), the Chief Officer is responsible for navigational watches on the bridge, supervision of cargo stowage and securing, management of the ship's documentation and coordination of the deck crew.
