Full description

A Third Officer is required to join a general cargo coaster operating in the European coastal trade. The joining date is scheduled for 5 November, on a contract of 6 months +/- 1 month. The salary offered is between 3,300 and 3,400 USD per month. A good command of English and previous experience in the rank are required. Under STCW Regulation II/1, the Third Officer stands navigational watches under the supervision of the Master and the Chief Officer, assists with the maintenance of navigation and life-saving equipment, and ensures compliance with the safety and pollution-prevention requirements laid down in SOLAS and MARPOL.
