A Second Engineer is required to join a 180,000 DWT bulk carrier. The contract is for a fixed term and the salary ranges from 8,000 to 8,200 USD per month. The maximum age is 45. The port of embarkation is in Ukraine and the joining date is as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will perform engine room watches under the supervision of the Chief Engineer, assisting with the maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems. Valid maritime documentation and previous experience on bulk carriers are essential. Under the STCW Convention, the Second Engineer must hold the appropriate Certificate of Competence and be familiar with safety and pollution prevention procedures.
