Full description

A Chief Officer is required to join a general cargo coaster vessel. Joining is as soon as possible, with dates between 15 November and 1 December. The contract duration is 4 months, plus or minus 1 month. The salary offered is 6,500 to 6,800 USD per month. Good English and experience in the rank are required. Under the STCW Convention, the Chief Officer is responsible for navigational watches, cargo planning and supervision, ship maintenance, and coordination of the deck crew. They must also ensure compliance with safety and security regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC 2006). The vessel operates in coastal trade (coaster), so experience on such vessels and adaptability to short routes are valued. The position is open to candidates with valid documentation and availability to join on the indicated dates.
