Full description

An Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) is required to join an oil/chemical tanker of 5,000-19,000 DWT. Joining is ASAP, with a deadline of 1 February and possible embarkation until 20 February. The contract duration is 5-6 months, +/-1 month, and the salary offered is 6,700 USD per month. Good English and experience in the rank are required. The ETO will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the ship's electrical and electronic systems, including automation and control equipment. Under STCW Regulation III/6, the Electro-Technical Officer must hold the appropriate certification and perform electrical and electronic maintenance duties on board. They must also comply with the safety regulations set out in SOLAS and MLC 2006. The vessel operates in international waters, so valid maritime documentation and willingness to travel are required.
