A Master is required for a chemical tanker of 5,000-19,000 DWT, with joining dates on 15 November, 15 January or 1 March. The contract will last 2-4 months, with a flexibility of plus or minus one month. The offered salary is 15,300 USD per month. Good English and experience in the rank are required.
Under the STCW Convention, the Master is responsible for the safety of the ship, crew and cargo, as well as compliance with international regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC 2006). They must supervise cargo operations, manage ship documentation and coordinate crew training and welfare.
