Amergo Group is seeking a Second Officer to join on 15 February a general cargo ship with heavy lift capability. The contract will run for 6 months, plus or minus 1 month, with a salary of between 3,106 and 3,400 USD per month. Good English and previous experience in rank are required. Under STCW II/1, the Second Officer stands navigational watches on the bridge, assists with passage planning and supervises the safety of the vessel during the watch. On a general cargo ship handling heavy lifts, the role also involves overseeing the stowage and securing of cargo in coordination with the Chief Officer.
