Amergo Group is seeking a Second Engineer to join a container ship. The contract will last 4 months, plus or minus 1 month, with joining date scheduled for 20 February. The salary offered is 7,500 to 7,800 USD per month. Previous experience in the rank and good English are required.
Typical duties of the Second Engineer, under the STCW Convention, include supervising engine room watches, maintaining propulsion and auxiliary systems, and managing engine department personnel. The Second Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of equipment and compliance with safety regulations.
