Full description

An Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) is required to join a general cargo ship, with joining date scheduled for 5 January. The contract will run for 4 months, plus or minus 1 month, and the salary offered ranges from 5,000 to 6,000 USD per month. A good command of English and previous experience in the rank are required. Under STCW III/6, the Electro-Technical Officer is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the ship's electrical, electronic and automation systems, including propulsion, power generation and control equipment. The ETO also works alongside the Chief Engineer in the technical management on board and in troubleshooting electrical systems.
