The company SIA Gold Orion LTD is seeking a 2nd Engineer to join its offshore fleet on a Construction and Diving Support Vessel DP2 for projects in Saudi Arabia.

Technical Details

  • Location: Saudi Arabia (KSA Projects)
  • Salary: 350-450 USD per day
  • Contract: 8 weeks on/8 weeks off rotation
  • Vessel Type: Construction and Diving Support Vessel DP2
  • Required Documentation: STCW 2010 package, BOSIET/HUET, CA-EBS, UKOAA medical examination, HV/LV, DP Maintenance Ticket, ARAMCO Approval (advantageous)
  • Required Training: Unlimited or higher 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency

Requirements

The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience on a DSV DP2 vessel in the rank of 2nd Engineer. A high level of English is also required, with a minimum score of 85% on the Marlins test.

Responsibilities

According to the international STCW convention, typical duties of a 2nd Engineer on this type of vessel include the supervision and maintenance of propulsion and electrical generation systems, as well as coordination with the Chief Engineer to ensure the proper functioning of technical equipment on board.
