The company SIA Gold Orion LTD is seeking an experienced Second Officer to join its offshore fleet for projects in Saudi Arabia.

Technical Details

  • Location: Projects in Saudi Arabia
  • Salary: 350 – 400 USD per day
  • Contract: 8 weeks on/8 weeks off rotation
  • Vessel Type: Dive Support Vessel DP2 (SAT Dive)
  • Required Documentation: STCW 10/5 package, BOSIET/HUET, CA-EBS, UKOAA Medical Certificate, Full DP Ticket, ARAMCO (advantage)
  • Required Training: Certificate of Competency as an unlimited Second Officer or higher
  • Hiring Company: SIA Gold Orion LTD

Requirements

At least 370 days of experience in SAT diving operations on a DSV DP2 vessel in the same rank is required. Proficiency in English with a score of at least 85% on the Marlins test. Candidates of any nationality are accepted.

Functions

According to the international STCW convention, the functions of a Second Officer on a dive support vessel include supervising diving operations, managing the navigation and safety of the vessel, and coordinating with the dive team to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
