Position Overview

Opportunity for a 2nd or 3rd Deck Officer/DP Operator to join a Jack Up wind farm installation vessel currently in a shipyard in the Netherlands. This is a temporary 2-week contract starting 1st April, managed through the recruitment agency WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions.

Requirements

  • STCW Certificate of Competency
  • Valid passport
  • Seaman’s Book (Libreta de Inscripción Marítima)
  • Medical Certificate
  • Full DP (Dynamic Positioning) certification
  • Complete STCW training for Deck Officer

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties as 2nd or 3rd Deck Officer
  • DP operations for wind farm installation
  • According to STCW, typical functions include navigation watches, supervision of deck operations, maintenance of safety equipment, and compliance with SOLAS procedures

Additional Information

GWO certification is not required as the vessel is in a shipyard (additional information: in active wind operations, GWO is normally required for work at height and specific first aid).
