Requirements
- 24 months of experience in rank in offshore operations
- Minimum 6 months of experience on ASD tugs
- National Skipper (COC) without limits
- No valid UAE visa
- GCC approval/experience would be an advantage (ADNOC/ARAMCO/Qatar Energy, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Captain: According to STCW, typical functions include: total responsibility for navigation, safety, and vessel operations; compliance with international regulations; and crew management.
- Chief Engineer: According to STCW, typical functions include: supervision of the engine department; maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems; management of fuel and lubricants; and ensuring compliance with SOLAS and MARPOL.
