Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a 3rd Engineer for a Bulk Carrier built in Japan, with a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 60,000 tons and constructed in 2015. The selected candidate will join a mixed crew and their responsibilities will include the maintenance and operation of the ship’s engineering systems, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all mechanical equipment on board.

Requirements and qualifications: The ideal candidate should have the appropriate training and certification as a merchant marine engineer, previous experience in the position of 3rd Engineer on similar ships, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Additional details: The start date is 20th March 2025. The contract will last for 5 months with the possibility of extension for an additional 1 month.
