Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified 4th Engineer to join the engine department of a VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) within a global tanker fleet. This is a maritime contract position (temporary or voyage-based, depending on the duration of the assignment). The vessel type is a VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier). The hiring company is TECHMARINE. Requirements
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for 4th Engineer

Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Engineer and other officers in the operation and maintenance of the engine room
- Supervise and perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment such as the main engine Wartsila 7RT-flex84T
- Handle the vessel’s propulsion, electrical generation, and auxiliary systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations (e.g., SOLAS, MARPOL) in the engine department
- Participate in engine room watches and emergencies according to the watch schedule
