Bosun for Refrigerated Cargo Ship – Seacover UA – Ukraine Only
Description of the position and key functions: An opportunity for a Bosun position on board a specialised refrigerated cargo ship transporting juices is available. The operational area includes South America, the United States, and the European Union. The candidate is expected to participate in supervising loading and unloading operations, as well as coordinating with the crew to ensure the safety and efficiency of the vessel.
Requirements and qualifications: The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements: – Ukrainian nationality. – Maximum age of 47 years. – Previous experience of at least 6 months in the same rank. – Previous experience in refrigerated vessels, containers, tankers, or other vessels with a minimum weight of 15,000 DWT is valued. – COC II/5 or III/5 Competency Certificate. – Valid travel documentation (PP, SBook, and STCW documents) with a minimum validity of 6 months. – C1-D1 US visa. – Good level of English. – Experience in mixed crew environments. – Full vaccination. – Tank officer certificates are not required.
Additional details: Incorporation is planned for the first week of September. The contract is for 5 months, with a possible variation of one month. The vessel has a gross tonnage (GRT) of 14,000 and a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 23,686. Built in 2014, it sails under the flag of Liberia.
