Description of the Position and Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Bosun for a refrigerated cargo ship specialized in the transportation of juices. The ship operates in the commercial areas of South America, the United States, and the European Union. The Bosun’s duties will include supervising and coordinating deck operations, ensuring proper maintenance and compliance with all safety regulations on board.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Nationality: Ukraine
  • Age limit: Up to 47 years
  • Minimum experience in the position: 6 months
  • Preferable previous experience on refrigerated ships, containers, or tankers with a minimum weight of 15,000 DWT
  • COC II/5 or III/5 certificate
  • Valid documents (PP, SBook, and STCW) for at least 6 months
  • US C1-D1 visa
  • Good level of English
  • Experience with mixed crew
  • Full vaccination
  • No tank operator certificates required

Additional Details:

  • Date and place of joining: mid-September
  • 5-month contract with a possible variation of 2 months (-1/+1)
  • The refrigerated cargo ship has a GRT of 22,063 and a DWT of 26,863, and was built in 2000 under the flag of Liberia
