Requirements
The candidate must have 24 months of experience as a Captain on a Jack-Up Self-Propelled vessel. Candidates from various nationalities are accepted, including Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Honduras, India, Jordan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Myanmar, Nigeria, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, Indonesia, Ghana, Montenegro, Slovenia, South Africa, and Cameroon.
Responsibilities
Typically, according to the international STCW convention, the responsibilities of a Captain on a Jack-Up Self-Propelled vessel include the overall management of the vessel, ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations, supervising the crew, and coordinating with port and maritime authorities.
