Scylla AG is looking for an experienced and passionate culinary professional to independently manage a designated kitchen station on board their river cruises. Responsibilities include preparing and presenting meals according to daily menus and standards, maintaining high levels of hygiene and cost control. You will also be required to strictly comply with HACCP standards and effectively collaborate with onboard service teams.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of culinary experience, including food preparation and flavor pairing.
  • Preferably a degree in hospitality or culinary arts and/or experience on river cruises.
  • Ability to work independently during preparation and service.
  • Customer-oriented mindset and team spirit.
  • Calm under pressure, resilience, and adaptability.
  • High standards of professionalism and appearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); German is an advantage.
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Additional Details: Accommodation in a shared cabin on board (may vary depending on the ship). Uniform provided by the company (except safety shoes and knives); you are required to wear black trousers, white or black t-shirts, a chef’s jacket, and black shoes.
