Chief Cook and Camp Boss for WTIV in UK/EU
Description of the position and key functions: We are looking to fill the role of Chief Cook and Camp Boss to work on a Wind Turbine Installation Vessel (WTIV). Key functions include overall management of the kitchen and dining area on board the ship, as well as overseeing the kitchen team and maintaining food hygiene and safety throughout all processes.
Requirements and qualifications: – Food Handler Certificate and Food Hygiene and Safety Course (HACCP). – GWO certification in Manual Handling, Sea Survival, and Working at Heights. – HUET CA-EBS OPITO certification. Previous experience in similar positions and work on ships will be valued.
Additional details: Expected start date: mid-December in Singapore. Contract duration: 5 weeks (+/- 2 weeks). The position requires availability to work on a regular rotation in the UK/EU region.
