Requirements

Responsibilities
The company requires the Chief Engineer to manage and supervise the maintenance and operation of the propulsion system and auxiliary machinery of the vessel. According to the international STCW convention, the responsibilities of this position include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the propulsion system, conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance, and coordinating with the Captain and other officers to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
