Description of the position and key responsibilities: Golf Marine LTD is looking for a Chief Engineer for a container ship with a DWT of 77,950. The main responsibilities will include supervising and maintaining the main Sulzer 12RTA96C engine, as well as effectively managing the onboard engineering team to ensure the proper functioning of all the ship’s machinery.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience as a Chief Engineer on container ships or similar types. Solid knowledge in handling and maintaining Sulzer engines. Competencies in leadership and team management onboard.
