Chief Engineer for Container Ship in Caravella
Position Description and Key Responsibilities: We are offering the position of Chief Engineer on board the container ship TJ ORHAN. The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and optimal operation of the main MAN-B&W engine with a power of 12,000 kW. The vessel has a DWT of 21,000 and was built in 1998. Responsibilities include overseeing technical operations and maintenance of the ship, ensuring compliance with maritime safety regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications: Previous experience as a Chief Engineer on similar vessels, preferably on container ships. Knowledge and experience in handling MAN-B&W engines. Age limit: 52 years. Up-to-date training and certification in accordance with international merchant navy standards.
