Description of the role and key responsibilities: A position is available as Chief Engineer on a general cargo vessel with a deadweight tonnage of 5,233 tons. The main responsibilities include maintenance and supervision of all propulsion systems and machinery on board, ensuring the proper functioning of the vessel at all times. Previous experience in the same position is expected, as well as skills to lead a technical team on board.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience as a Chief Engineer. High level of English.
Additional details: The start date is expected to be at the end of November (week 47), with an initial contract of 3 months and the possibility of a +/-1 month extension. The offered salary is £7,400 per month.
