Description of the role and key responsibilities: We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a container ship with a deadweight of 66,500 tonnes and a capacity for 5,000 TEUs. This role involves leading the ship’s engineering department, ensuring the efficient operation of all mechanical and electrical systems during the voyage.

Requirements and qualifications: Candidates must have previous experience in the role of Chief Engineer and a good command of the English language. It is essential to have the standard qualifications required to operate on a ship of this type.

Additional details: The start date is planned for the beginning of June, during week 24. The initial contract is for 3 months, with the possibility of extending for an additional month. The offered remuneration is £8,800 monthly.
