Chief Engineer Position on Container Ship – Marine Man Ltd – International – Salary: £9,098 – £9,600
Description of the role and key functions: We are looking for a Chief Engineer to work on a container ship with a DWT of 33,800 tonnes. The selected individual will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the ship’s engineering systems, ensuring efficient and safe operation throughout the journey. Key responsibilities include managing the onboard engineering team and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
Requirements and qualifications: Citizenship of Ukraine, Georgia, EU, or Turkey. Relevant previous experience in a similar position on merchant ships, preferably on container ships. Appropriate certification for the Chief Engineer position according to international regulations.
