Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Chief Officer for a very large crude carrier (VLCC) with a deadweight of 299,985 metric tons. Key responsibilities include supervising loading and unloading operations, ensuring compliance with onboard safety regulations, and coordinating with the international mixed crew to ensure efficient ship operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Candidates must have previous experience as Chief Officer on vessels of a similar capacity, as well as the relevant certifications for tanker operations. Proficiency in English communication is highly valued due to the international crew and management of the vessel.
Additional Details:
The contract duration is 4 months, with a salary ranging from £11,500 to £12,200. The ship is owned by a Norwegian company, with management based in Singapore. The start date is February 28, 2025.
