Description of the role and key functions: A prestigious German shipowner is looking for a Chief Officer to join a container vessel on the 20th of October. The vessel has a deadweight of 33,632 tonnes. The position requires efficient management of the vessel’s operations, ensuring safety and compliance with international regulations. Additionally, the Chief Officer works closely with the Captain to coordinate daily activities and supervise the onboard team.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role onboard container vessels. Appropriate training and certifications required for the Chief Officer position. Leadership skills and ability to work in multicultural teams. Proficiency in Spanish and a good level of English for onboard communication.
