Description of the position and key functions: An Electrical Engineer is required to join a 13048 DWT container ship, equipped with a main MAN-B&W 6S46ME-B engine of 8280 KW. Embarkation is scheduled for 22nd June, after leaving the dry dock in Singapore. The main responsibilities include maintenance and repair of electrical systems on board, ensuring proper operation within the standards established by the company.
Requirements and qualifications: Ideal candidates should have a background as an Electrical Engineer, previous experience on commercial vessels, and skills to work in an international environment with mixed crew. Experience on container ships and knowledge of MAN-B&W engines will be positively valued.
