Engineer Assistant Positions on Oil Platform
There are openings for 2nd and 3rd Engineer Assistants on an oil platform. The 2nd Engineer Assistant will coordinate the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and local and international regulations. They will also oversee the implementation of work permit and isolation systems, and collaborate with the maritime department in fuel and water logistics. The 3rd Engineer Assistant will be responsible for daily inspections, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and marine equipment, keeping accurate and up-to-date records in the AIM system. They will also coordinate routine maintenance with supervisors and relevant departments, and ensure the proper certification and maintenance of third-party equipment.
Requirements and qualifications:
- USCG Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC)
- STCW Medical Certificate
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- RigPass or SafeGulf Certification
- Relevant work experience of 0 to 1 year
