Job Listing: 3rd Engineer for Container Ship at Alpha Navigation Crew Management
Alpha Navigation Crew Management is looking to hire a 3rd Engineer to join the crew of a container ship. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of the main MAN-B&W engine, as well as other mechanical and electrical systems on board. The vessel, built in 2007, has a deadweight of 42,164 tonnes and its main engine has a power of 31,920 kW.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar position on cargo ships, preferably on container ships.
- Accredited training in maritime engineering or a similar field.
- Technical knowledge of the MAN-B&W engine or similar large engines.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to the dynamics of life at sea.
