Description of the position and key responsibilities: An opportunity is available for the position of Chief Engineer on board a Jack Up Barge with international operations in the areas of United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Iraq. The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of all engineering systems on board, ensuring safe and efficient operation. The contract duration is 45 days, with a competitive salary ranging from 700 to 800 USD per day.
Requirements and qualifications: Mandatory Chief Engineer license. Minimum 24 months of experience on a self-propelled Jack Up Barge in the Chief Engineer range. Compliance with all valid STCW certificates. Required documentation: Updated CV, copy of CoC and endorsements, passport, seafarer’s book with detailed service pages, references from previous employers, and medical certificate. Full vaccination against Covid-19.
