Description of the position and key responsibilities: WishToSail.com is sharing a job offer for the positions of Chief Engineer and Second Engineer on PCTC LNG DF ships. The selected candidates will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of machinery on board, ensuring the proper functioning of propulsion and auxiliary systems on car carrier ships built in 2025 and flying the flag of Liberia.

Requirements and qualifications: Demonstrable experience in similar positions and handling of LNG DF 7X62DF engines is required. Candidates must have the necessary training and certifications to work in the maritime sector in accordance with relevant international and local standards.

Additional details:

  • Start Date: Immediate (ASAP)
  • Contract Duration: 4 months with the possibility of a +/-1 month extension
  • Salary: USD 10,000 to 11,000, depending on the Chief Engineer’s experience USD 8,200 to 9,000, depending on the Second Engineer’s experience
