Are you an experienced Seismic Lead Mechanic looking for a new opportunity? Offshore Fleet SL is currently seeking a Seismic Lead Mechanic for a DP2 seismic research vessel. As a Seismic Lead Mechanic, your key responsibilities will include managing and maintaining Gunlink 4000 gun controller systems, supervising 9-cord arrays, soft arrays and Baro deflectors ready for source steering, as well as modifying slides and enabling 200m COS and 800m umbilical cords.

To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma in hydrography or equivalent, as well as a degree in Mechanical Engineering. You should have over 2 years of experience in seismic operations and hold the necessary STCW 2010 documentation. Essential qualifications include BOSIET/HUET, CA-EBS, UKOAA medical certification, dental certificate, vaccination against Hepatitis A and B, tuberculosis test, polio vaccination, and an 85% or higher score on the Marlins English test.

Nationality requirements are open to all, and the position offers a worldwide operational scope. The contract starts on 01/08/2025, with a salary of £438 per day.
