Job Opportunities on LPG Vessel – Ukraine
Description of the position and key functions: Vacancies are available for different positions on board a liquefied gas (LPG) tanker with a deadweight of 30,000 tonnes. The functions vary depending on the position: the ETO (Electromechanical Technician) will be responsible for maintenance and repair of the ship’s electrical and electronic systems; the 3rd Engineer will assist in the operation and maintenance of the engine room; and the AB (Able Seaman) will be in charge of maintenance and support tasks on deck.
Requirements and qualifications: ETO: Previous experience in maintaining maritime electrical and electronic systems. 3rd Engineer: Marine engineering training and experience in naval machinery operation. AB (Able Seaman): Certification as a deckhand with experience in onboard operations.
