We are urgently seeking a Captain for a 43,498 TRB bulk carrier vessel with the Portuguese flag. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading all operations on board, ensuring the safety of the crew and cargo, as well as compliance with international maritime regulations. This role involves navigation management, communications, and ship maintenance.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Prior experience in the position of Captain on bulk carrier vessels. Relevant professional qualifications and a valid certification to work as a Captain. Solid knowledge of safety regulations and cargo management for this type of vessel. Ability to lead and effectively manage the crew.
Additional Details:
4-month contract. Competitive salary between £9000 and £11000. Start date: as soon as possible.
