Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for an Electronic Technical Officer (ETO) for a Bulk Carrier weighing 37,900 tonnes, built in 2016. The sailing area includes the East Coast of South America, the Mediterranean Sea, and West Africa. Main responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of electronic systems on board, ensuring the efficiency and safety of all electronic equipment on the vessel.
Requirements and qualifications: Demonstrable knowledge and professional skills in ship electronic systems are required. Previous experience in similar positions is imperative to ensure compliance with current regulations and the proper functioning of on-board systems.
Additional details: Boarding is scheduled for early June, with a contract duration of 7 months, plus or minus a month. The crew is multicultural, and the offered salary is 6,000 USD per month.
