Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for a First Officer (CO) for a Bulk Carrier under German management. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on board, ensuring safety and efficiency in all loading and unloading maneuvers. They will also coordinate the deck crew and maintain communication with the captain and other officers.
Requirements and qualifications: Indonesian citizenship is required for this position. Previous experience on bulk cargo ships will be positively valued, as well as a solid background in navigation and maritime operations. Standard qualifications include titles such as Officer of the Deck Competency Certificate and updated medical and safety certifications.
Additional details: The contract is for a duration of 6 months, with a planned start date of 27th May 2025. The offer includes a placement service at no cost to the employee.
