Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for a Fitter for a Capesize type Bulk Carrier built in Korea in 2011, with a deadweight of 179,558 tonnes. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of the ship’s facilities and machinery, ensuring optimal and safe operation during navigation.
Requirements and qualifications:
– Minimum 12 months of experience in the same rank.
– Good level of English.
– Previous experience on a ship of the same type.
Additional details:
– Salary: $3,200 or equivalent in euros.
– Contract: 4 months with the possibility of extension for an additional 2 months.
– Start date: November.
