Job Opportunity: Fitter Position on Semi Subcarguero Ship in the UK
Are you a skilled Fitter looking to join a semi subcarguero ship specialising in heavy lifting operations? We are currently seeking a Fitter to join a vessel in the Netherlands initially, followed by operations within the 12-mile zone of the United Kingdom starting from February. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing machinery and systems on board the ship, ensuring optimal performance of all equipment during operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- BOISET/FOET certification
- Specific STCW certificates for Fitters
- Valid passport
- Seafarer’s book
- Valid medical certificate
- Safety awareness (specific to the role of a fitter if applicable)
Additional details: The contract offers a 5-week rotation on board followed by 5 weeks off. Candidates must be available to start on December 17th.
