Job Opportunity: Messman on German Owner’s General Cargo/Heavy Lift Vessel
The German owner is looking for a Messman to join their 12,337 DWT general cargo/heavy lift vessel. The joining date is scheduled for the 8th of April in Turkey.
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
The Messman will carry out essential tasks in managing the kitchen and dining area, ensuring food service for the crew. Responsibilities also include maintaining adequate cleanliness and provision in the assigned areas.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Possession of a US visa is valued. Previous experience in a similar role on board general cargo/heavy lift vessels is preferable. Ability to work in a mixed crew environment and under German management.
Additional Details:
Contract Duration: 6 +/- 1 months. Salary: 1,248 USD. Promotion opportunities within an extensive fleet of over 100 vessels. Stable rotation scheme.
