LNG Bunker Trader – TotalEnergies Marine Fuels – Geneva Metropolitan Area

Position Overview

TotalEnergies Marine Fuels is inviting a high-performing commercial professional to join its Global Small-Scale LNG team. Based in the Geneva Metropolitan Area, this role is responsible for developing and managing the LNG bunker trading portfolio across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and execute LNG bunker sales to shipping companies and other end-users.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the maritime industry.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to identify trading opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with counterparties, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of LNG bunker fuel.
  • Prepare reports and analysis on trading performance and market intelligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commodity trading, preferably in LNG, oil, or shipping.
  • Strong understanding of the LNG value chain and bunkering operations.
  • Proven track record in commercial negotiation and client relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe as required.
