Amergo Group is looking for a Second Engineer (2E) for a container ship. The responsibilities include supervising and maintaining the propulsion systems and auxiliary machinery of the ship, ensuring its efficient and safe operation at all times. The candidate will work directly under the supervision of the Chief Engineer, collaborating with the engineering team to ensure the continuous operability of the ship.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the Second Engineer rank on container ships.
  • High level of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication on board.
  • Technical training in maritime engineering or similar field.
  • Relevant and up-to-date maritime certifications.

Additional Details:

  • Competitive salary between 7,000 and 7,800 USD.
  • 4-month contract with possibility of extension (+/- 1 month).
  • Immediate incorporation.
