Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Second Engineer for a container ship with a deadweight capacity (DWT) of 108,427 tonnes, built in 2009. The main engine is a MAN B&W with 68,640 brake horsepower (BHP). The main responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining the propulsion system and other technical equipment on the ship, ensuring proper operation during operations.
Requirements and qualifications: Mandatory visa for the United States. Previous experience with high voltage equipment is considered an advantage.
